2 Pac Shakur Painting
Here is a painting that I did of 2 Pac Shakur. This was created by using acrylic paint on canvas. This is not the first time creating an art piece of him. I actually did a vector art rendering of him and one made from markers. He is an inspiration to my work and also a motivator. I have been a big fan of him since I was a kid. There are many things that are really like about him. This painting was to be not of color, but in black-and-white. Black-and-white tends to give a different feel, a different mood. Just his pose alone gives you a sense of questioning. What is going through his mind? What is he thinking? I like that pose. He was also a thinker and a outspoken person. I tried something different with this canvas. I usually work on a 20 inch size, but now I’m working with something a
lot smaller. The canvas is not that wide. It’s more tall and vertical. I like trying something new. Such as working with color all the time and now working without color is just another form that I’m testing out. I might do a couple more paintings without color. I’m really digging it. A lot of ideas are popping up into my head. Seems like that every day. It is just lots of fun to create artwork and share with other fellow artist and fans.
